Present a deck and coordinate the discussion
Use the presentation controls to guide the route on your screen, then return to the canvas for questions and collaborative work. A deck’s visible frames determine what its slide controls show. Shared cursors help people already working in the same canvas coordinate their attention; displaying cursors does not invite people or grant access. Prepare the correct deck before the meeting so delivery and follow-up stay connected.
Canvas → Present → Present presentation · Show shared cursors · CommentsWhat you’ll learn
- Start the chosen deck from its working presentation controls.
- Advance, revisit or jump directly to a visible frame.
- Return to shared canvas work and retain follow-up questions.

01
Choose the right deck
Open Present on the right rail and inspect the deck title, frame list and visible-frame count. Expand the deck if it is collapsed. Read the frame titles in sequence and use Show in Presentation or Hide in Presentation to correct the route. A deck needs at least one visible frame before it can start, so check this before your audience is waiting.
02
Start the presentation
Click the deck’s Present presentation control, or open Edit Presentation and choose Present in the Frames pane. The canvas moves into its presentation view and fits the selected deck’s first visible frame to the available screen. Confirm that the expected title appears in the bottom navigation. If fullscreen is unavailable, check the visible presentation view before beginning your explanation.
04
Return to the shared board
Click Stop presentation to leave the slide view, then use Return to canvas if the frame-editing pane remains open. For collaborative discussion, enable Show shared cursors in the header. In a connected canvas, this helps you see activity from the people already present. Hide shared cursors reduces that visual activity; it does not change the project’s membership or resource permissions.
05
Capture follow-up questions
Open Comments on the right rail to review the current canvas’s Open and Resolved threads. These threads stay in this browser. Select a thread to read it and return with Back to comments list. Put the agreed next step in a Sticky Note beside the relevant canvas material, then save the board. Reopen that note to check the saved follow-up context.
You can deliver the intended visible sequence, respond to questions by jumping between frames and return to collaborative canvas work with a saved record of the next steps.
