Review a page with focused comments

Keep a review question beside the passage that needs attention, or record a comment about the whole page. Ask for specific evidence, follow the answers and mark resolved questions so the next review starts with the remaining work. Use this guide to keep your reading notes clear and easy to revisit.

In this guide
  1. Anchor a specific question
  2. Separate whole-page feedback
  3. Use the thread list to return to context
  4. Record the answer and resolve the thread
  5. Interpret page readiness correctly

01

Anchor a specific question

Comments stay in this browser. Select the sentence that needs clarification and choose Comment in the selection toolbar. In Comment on selected text, ask for specific evidence, such as “Which interview supports this constraint?” Choose Add comment or press Enter; Shift+Enter adds a line. Check that the comment is attached to the intended passage before continuing the review.

02

Separate whole-page feedback

Open Focus mode → Document tools → Page comments. Use Add a page comment for a concern that spans the document, such as a missing audience or an unresolved decision. Write the comment in Comment on this page… and submit it. This creates a page thread without a text anchor, so include enough context for your future self to understand it.

04

Record the answer and resolve the thread

Reply with the evidence or the change that addresses the question, then use the thread’s Resolved switch. The thread moves out of Open; choose Resolved or All to find it again. Reopen it by switching Resolved off if the issue remains. Check that the comment and replies survive reopening the page on this device, and respond to any persistence error before leaving.

05

Interpret page readiness correctly

Page details also displays Status, Owner and Labels. In an already configured offline deployment, you can save these details to organise local review: Owner is free text and labels are comma-separated. In the current live workspace, write those details in the page text instead. Draft, In review, Approved and Archived describe readiness; none of them grants access or creates an enforced approval process.

What you will have

Local review notes with clear questions, traceable answers and an honest distinction between readiness and permission.
